Swazi pots - made by hand and simply fired - were originally
used to make sorghum beer. The pots are now used for decoration.
Margaret's decorations enhance the pots' natural form and beauty,
providing a unique objet d'art.
The natural beauty and colour of ostrich eggs is enhanced by
Margaret's metal and beadwork. Her eggs, laid by ostriches in
the nearby Victorian ostrich boomtown of Outshoorn, are decorated
whole or cut to provide functional forms that can be used as
candle holders or bowls.
Sally's highly-detailed work is widely exhibited and her Zulu
earplugs are collected worldwide. Sally's wildlife illustrations,
including birds and fish, have been used in corporate brochures
in Europe.
